Michael R. Mason Named MDSI Managing Director

ANN ARBOR—Manufacturing Data Systems, Inc., (MDSI), a subsidiary of Tecumseh Products Company and the developer of OpenCNC^® software, announced the appointment of Michael R. Mason as managing director. The announcement was made by Todd W. Herrick, president, Tecumseh Products Company, upon the resignation of James R. Fall as president of MDSI.

Mason recently joined MDSI as business development manager. Prior to that he was project manager at Tecumseh Products, where he worked closely with the MDSI technology for several years. He brings 14 years of experience in information technology, specifically in manufacturing systems and automation software. Mason will continue the company's expansion of its OpenCNC software products in the U.S. and global markets. Former MDSI president James R. Fall has left the company to pursue other interests.
