Hi, I am having some problem learning how to use the mEGearOn option. There is something I don't understand about the set ratio and the actual output. I noticed that whatever ratio I commanded for defEGearNum[] and defEGearDen[], the ratio of EncCountRaw values was always greater.
Then defEGearNum[2]/defEGearDen[2] = 0.055555556 But when I compared encCountRaw[3]/encCountRaw[2]=~0.244175824
So the actual encoder position is ~4.39 times later than the defined ratio. If I tried a different Num/Den ratio, I noticied that the actual encoder positions are still larger by ~4.39 times.
My question is: where does the 4.39 come from? Does it take into consideration other parameters such as encCountPerRev, axConvertDist, axConvertTicks, or any other varaibles?
Please let me know if you could help me out, Thank you,
