Michael R. Tarr Named Sales Director of MDSI

ANN ARBOR—Manufacturing Data Systems, Inc., (MDSI), a subsidiary of Tecumseh Products Company and the developer of OpenCNC® software CNC and WinMotion® general motion machine control technologies, announced the appointment of Michael R. Tarr as director of sales and technical services, worldwide.

Tarr will drive MDSI's expansion of its factory automation products in the U.S. and global markets. Previously national sales manager for Siemens Motion Control Group, Tarr brings 25 years of experience in the machine tool industry.

"MDSI's innovative motion control solutions not only provide exceptionally high performance, they also allow our customers to enable their own manufacturing technologies to an unprecedented extent," Tarr said. "I look forward to expanding MDSI's presence in the manufacturing marketplace."
